Registration includes admission to all RAID 2015 sessions, proceedings, and selected meals throughout the event. You will be charged in JPY as stated below (8% VAT included). For ease of reference, we have also included a rough estimate in EUR and USD through web services. Currency exchange rates are subject to fluctuations; actual exchange rates will be determined by the payment service providers.
Registered attendees may be contacted by the symposium sponsors before or after the symposium. A designated registration page is available to those who opt-out contact from the symposium sponsors.

The Purchase button will open a new window to a page at Cloud Payment, a PCIDSS 3.0-compliant payment service provider, which will process the payments (only Mastercard and Visa accepted). All electronic payments are governed by the Specified Commercial Transaction Act of Japan, which requires visible display of the Notation.
If you so choose, any personal information you provide to us during registration, including your name, address, telephone number and email address, will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities after the payment has taken place. Your name and institution as specified on your registration form will be used for your conference badge.
A refund minus a 10% handling fee will be given to registrants who are unable to attend the conference due to medical emergency. A substitute participant will be accepted at any time with written notification, which is subject to identity proofing.
A few travel grants are available to students. Email raid2015-oc at is.naist.jp a motivation letter (in plaintext format) which outlines your current research and tells us why attending the symposium will be beneficial to you, along with a preliminary travel budget, and a note from your advisor requesting assistance. As with other symposium attendees, applicants of the travel grant are invited to proceed through the normal registration procedure.
Depending on your nationality, you may be required to apply for Japanese visa. More information are available on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
We may be able to provide visa support letters to attendees. For visa support letters, refer all requests to raid2015-regist _at_ is.naist.jp. In order to simplify identity proofing, we request you to complete the registration before accepting your request. Those requesting a letter should allow up to two weeks to receive it. The information below should be included with the request.
- Name (as it appears on attendee’s passport) and mailing address
- Date of birth
- Employer or university name
- Document delivery address
- Transaction number of registration (as it appears on the registration confirmation e-mail)
- Authors may indicate their paper title. Speakers can provide the title of their talk.
- Fax number or email address of where letter can be sent
- Passport information (number, date of issue, expiration date, and nationality)
- Date of arrival and departure
